In 2016 at the 8^th EPH conference in Vienna, the EUPHA sections “Health Impact Assessment (HIA)” and “Environment-related Diseases” held a joint workshop “Reducing the health and environment footprint of European Public Health conferences?” – cf. 11 Nov 2016, 26 Oct 2016 / Bei der 8. EPH-Konferenz 2016 in Wien veranstalteten die EUPHA-Sektionen “Health Impact Assessment (HIA)” und “Environment-related Diseases” gemeinsam einen Workshop “Reducing the health and environment footprint of European Public Health conferences?” – siehe 11 Nov 2016, 26 Oct 2016.

The issue was integrated into the preparation and implementation of the 9^th EPH conference in Stockholm (2017), and is now represented on the website announcing the 10^th EPH conference in Ljubljana in 2018 / Das Thema kam bei Vorbereitung und Durchführung der 9. EPH-Konferenz in Stockholm 2017 zum Tragen und ist nun auch auf der Website zur 10.
