12.10.2023, KIX – IX. Konferenz Stadt der Zukunft, Bonn: Update / 9th Conference City of the Future, Bonn: Update

Im Rahmen des Forschungsprogrammes „Stadt der Zukunft – Gesunde, nachhaltige Metropolen“ erfolgt die 9. (IX.) Konferenz am 21.-22.11.2023 in Bonn. Das Thema lautet: „Therapeutische Stadtlandschaften unter Stress – Bestandserhaltung, Entwicklungschancen und Verdrängungsrisiken in einer Welt des Wandels“, vgl. 17.7.2023 / As part of the research program “City of the Future – Healthy, Sustainable Metropolises”, the 9th Conference will take place on 21-22.11.2023 in Bonn. The topic is: “Therapeutic urban landscapes under stress – Conservation, development opportunities and displacement risks in a world of change”, cf. 17.7.2023.

Tagungsort: Universitätsclub Bonn, in fußläufiger Entfernung vom Bonner Hauptbahnhof. Konferenzsprache ist Deutsch. Teilnahme ist kostenlos. Die Anzahl von Plätzen für Teilnehmende ist begrenzt; freie Plätze gehen aktuell bereits zur Neige / Venue: Universitätsclub Bonn, within walking distance of Bonn’s main train station. Conference language is German. Participation is free of charge. The number of places for participants is limited; free places are already running out.

Veranstalter / Organizer: GeoHealth Centre, Institut für Hygiene & Public Health, Universitätsklinikum Bonn, Thomas Kistemann & Timo Falkenberg in Kooperation mit dem Programmbeirat der Fritz und Hildegard Berg-Stiftung / in cooperation with the Program Advisory Board of the Fritz und Hildegard Berg Foundation.

• Perspektiv-Beiträge u.a. von Seiten der Weltgesundheitsorganisation (WHO), des Öffentlichen Gesundheitsdienstes (ÖGD), einer Landesgesundheitsbehörde (LZG.NRW), von raumbezogener kommunaler Planung und aus internationaler Sicht (Indien) / Perspective contributions from, among others, the World Health Organization (WHO), the Public Health Service, a state health authority (LZG.NRW), from spatial municipal planning and from an international perspective (India)
• Panel: Strategien für Nachhaltige StadtGesundheit – Folgerungen aus einem druckfrischen Publikations-Ensemble / Panel: Strategies for Sustainable Urban Health – Conclusions from an ensemble of publications hot off the press
• Juniorforschungsgruppen zu Therapeutischen Landschaften: (i) LebensLand (Bielefeld): Die Lebens- und Genesungsumwelt von psychisch erkrankten Menschen als Therapeutische Landschaften, (ii) AGe-SaluS (Hamburg): Alternde Gesellschaft und Urbanisierung: Salutogene Effekte von Stadtlandschaften im (Fenster-) Blick, (iii) GreenBalance (Bonn): Gesundheitliche Relevanz urbaner Biodiversität und Ökosystemleistungen / Junior Research Groups on Therapeutic Landscapes: (i) LebensLand (Bielefeld): The Living and Recovery Environment of Mentally Ill People as Therapeutic Landscapes, (ii) AGe-SaluS (Hamburg): Aging Society and Urbanization: Salutogenic Effects of Urban Landscapes in (Window) View, (iii) GreenBalance (Bonn): Health relevance of urban biodiversity and ecosystem services
• Elf Jahre Förderprogramm der Fritz und Hildegard Berg-Stiftung – ein Blick zurück und voraus. Ehemalige Promovierende aus den geförderten Juniorforschungsgruppen stellen ihre Projekte und ihren weiteren Weg vor / Eleven years of the Fritz and Hildegard Berg Foundation’s funding program – a look back and ahead. Former doctoral students from the funded junior research groups present their projects and their future path
• Panel: Was nehmen wir mit, wie geht es weiter? / Panel: What do we take with us, where do we go from here?
• Walking excursion: Academic Green – Bonns Grüne Achse / Bonn’s Green Axis
• Soundwalk – Akustischer Spaziergang durch Bonner Grünflächen / Acoustic walk through Bonn’s green spaces.
