Urban Health visual impressions / StadtGesundheit – visuelle Impressionen

“Urban Health“ means applying the practice and theory of Public Health to urban populations, thus widening the observer’s perspective and re-connecting the multitude of facets concerning “health in the city” / „StadtGesundheit“ bedeutet die Anwendung von Gesundheitswissenschaften und -praxis auf urbane Populationen, wodurch sich Blickwinkel erweitern und unterschiedlichste Aspekte von “Gesundheit in der Stadt” (wieder) näher zusammenrücken.

For starters: selected views of health, disease, life and death in the city / Zunächst einige Facetten von Gesundheit, Krankheit, Leben und Tod in der Stadt.

Then: Pragmatically applying a „sectoral triad“, Urban Health visuals are assigned to one of three categories / Dann, im Sinne einer einfachen “sektoralen Trias”, Illustrationen zur StadtGesundheit in drei Kategorien:

• All sectors, incl. culture, economy, education, energy, environment-biodiversity-climate, housing-buildings, industry, law-justice, social issues, transport / Intersektoral samt Kultur,  Wirtschaft, Bildung, Energieversorgung, Umwelt-Biodiversität-Klima, Wohnen & Bauen, Industrie, Recht-Gerechtigkeit, Soziales, Transport & Verkehr
• Prevention & Health promotion, incl. access, addiction, clean air, hygiene, physical activity, safety / Prävention & Gesundheitsförderung samt Barrierefreiheit, Süchte, Luftreinhaltung, Hygiene, Bewegung, Sicherheit
  
• Medical care incl. ambulant practice, hospitals, pharmaceuticals & medical aids/ Medizin samt ambulanter und stationärer Versorgung, Medikamenten & Heil-/Hilfsmitteln.
