Die Stiftung veröffentlichte im Rahmen ihrer Stiftungsinitiative „Mensch – Gesundheit – Natur“ die Ausschreibung einer weiteren Junior-Forschungsgruppe, die an der Schnittstelle von Wissenschaft und Gesellschaft herausragende Strategien und Konzepte für die nachhaltige Entwicklung urbaner Räume und Regionen entwickelt / As part of its “People – Health – Nature” foundation initiative, the foundation released a new call for proposals for a further junior research group that will develop outstanding strategies and concepts for the sustainable development of urban areas and regions, at the interface between science and society.

Ziel: Verknüpfung der in der UN-Agenda 2030 definierten Nachhaltigkeitsziele: Gesundheit und Wohlergehen (Ziel 3) und Nachhaltige Städte und Gemeinden (Ziel 11) / Goal: Linking the sustainability goals defined in the UN 2030 Agenda: Health and Well-being (Goal 3) and Sustainable Cities and Communities (Goal 11).

Exemplarische Forschungsthemen mit Bezug zum Gesamtthema „Stadt der Zukunft: Gesunde, nachhaltige Metropolen“ sind / Exemplary research topics related to the overall topic “City of the Future: Healthy, Sustainable Metropolitan Areas” are:

  • Umweltressourcen / Environmental resources
  • Leitbilder der Stadtentwicklung / Guiding principles of urban development
  • Stadt im Wandel / City in transition
  • Governance / Governance
  • Natur und Landschaft im städtischen Kontext / Nature and landscape in the urban context.

Als Raumbezug kann die Stadt, aber ebenso der stadtregionale Kontext herangezogen werden / Both the city as well as the urban-regional context can be used as a spatial reference.

Im Rahmen des Forschungsprogrammes „Stadt der Zukunft – Gesunde, nachhaltige Metropolen“ erfolgte die 9. (IX.) Konferenz am 21.-22.11.2023 in Bonn unter der Überschrift „Therapeutische Stadtlandschaften unter Stress – Bestandserhaltung, Entwicklungschancen und Verdrängungsrisiken in einer Welt des Wandels“, vgl. 17.7.2023 und 12.10.2023 / As part of the research program “City of the Future – Healthy, Sustainable Metropolises”, the 9th Conference took place on 21-22.11.2023 in Bonn, under the following headline: “Therapeutic urban landscapes under stress – Conservation, development opportunities and displacement risks in a world of change”, cf. 17.7.2023 and 12.10.2023 [22-21].
