The Berlin School of Public Health (a joint institution of Alice Salomon University of Applied Sciences, Charité Universitätsmedizin and TU Berlin) and the Berlin Institute for Health and Social Sciences (BIGSo) are conducting the project “Climate-Healthy Setting Prevention” (KliGeS), supported by the Association of Private Health Insurers / Die Berlin School of Public Health (Gemeinschaftseinrichtung von Alice Salomon Hochschule, Charité Universitätsmedizin und TU Berlin) und das Berliner Institut für Gesundheits- und Sozialwissenschaften führen mit Unterstützung des Verbandes der Privaten Krankenversicherung e.V. das Projekt „Klimagesunde Settingprävention“ (KliGeS) durch.

In the context of this project, an expert discussion (in German) on the topic of “Climate Health and Urban Health in Berlin” will take place in Berlin on March 28, 2023, 2-5 pm / Im Rahmen dieses Projektes erfolgt am 28. März 2023, 14-17 Uhr, in Berlin ein Fachgespräch (in deutscher Sprache) zum Thema „Klimagesundheit und Urban Health in Berlin“.

Medical care as well as prevention and health promotion are subject to growing differentiation and specialization. “Sustainable Urban Health” sees itself as an integrative, networking counterpart. With this in mind, a new report on the situation in Hamburg has been produced with extensive participation from science and practice / Medizinische Versorgung sowie Prävention und Gesundheitsförderung unterliegen wachsender Ausdifferenzierung und Spezialisierung. „Nachhaltige StadtGesundheit“ versteht sich als ein integrativer, vernetzender Gegenpol. In diesem Sinne ist mit umfangreicher Beteiligung aus Wissenschaft und Praxis ein neuer Bericht zur Situation in Hamburg entstanden.

Based on this joint work, the event will discuss what role the Public Health approaches Urban Health and Regional Health can play for the city and the metropolitan region of Hamburg / Ausgehend von diesem Gemeinschaftswerk soll in der Veranstaltung erörtert werden, welche Rolle die gesundheitswissenschaftlichen Ansätze Urban Health und Regional Health für Stadt und Metropolregion Hamburg spielen können.
