Wenn Prävention und Gesundheitsförderung den großen Entwicklungen (u.a. Demografie, Wirtschaft, Klima, Globalisierung) nicht nur hinterherlaufen wollen, sondern diese – wo irgend möglich – gesundheitspositiv mit gestalten wollen, braucht es eine Verbindung der beiden Konzepte “Health in all Policies” und “Vorausschau”. Dies ist international bekannt als Health Impact Assessment (HIA) oder gesundheitliche Folgenabschätzung. Mit HIA wird versucht, die Auswirkungen von Strategien, Plänen, Programmen und Projekten aller gesellschaftlichen Sektoren auf die Gesundheit im Vorwege abzuschätzen.

Der Workshop hatte zum Ziel, aktuelle Entwicklungen zu HIA im In- und Ausland sowie ihre möglichen Konsequenzen aufzuzeigen, um künftig die mit HIA verbundenen Chancen für Prävention besser zu nutzen.

Vier Präsentationen, je 15 min (inkl. Kurzdiskussion); Gemeinsame Diskussionsrunde (30 min)

• Health Impact Assessment / Gesundheitsfolgenabschätzung: Konzept zur Etablierung von HIA in Österreich. Erste Umsetzungsschritte (Ilonka Horvath, Christine Knaller, Gesundheit Österreich GmbH)
• Health Impact Assessment in der Schweiz (Catherine Favre Kruit, Gesundheitsförderung Schweiz)
• HIA in der akademischen Lehre: Stellenwert für den Master in Public Health – am Beispiel des neu ausgerichteten Masters of Public Health in München (Veronika Reisig, Manfred Wildner, Bayerisches Landesamt für Gesundheit und Lebensmittelsicherheit, Oberschleißheim)
• HIA-Beispiele zur Regionalplanung von Ruhrgebietsstädten und zum NRW-Wohnraumförderungsprogramm (Sarah Sierig, Odile Mekel, Landeszentrum Gesundheit NRW (LZG.NRW), Fachgruppe Innovation in der Gesundheit)
