Aus dem Faltblatt: Der Gedenkort ist aus dem langjährigen bürgerschaftlichen Engagement der Geschichtswerkstatt Papestraße und des Fördervereins Gedenkstätte Papestraße e.V. entstanden. Gemeinsam mit dem Bezirk Tempelhof-Schöneberg, dem Land Berlin und dem Bund konnte der Gedenkort dauerhaft für die Öffentlichkeit zugänglich gemacht werden.
