Today, the German-language book “Sustainable Regional Health Ostwestfalen-Lippe – Current situation and prospects for action” was published. The editors are Claudia Hornberg, Julius Freymüller, Silja Ritzinger and Rainer Fehr. This is volume 8 in the book series “Sustainable Urban and Regional Health”, edited by Rainer Fehr and Claudia Hornberg) and published in the oekom science section of Ökom-Verlag, München / Heute erschien die deutschsprachige Buchpublikation “Nachhaltige RegionalGesundheit Ostwestfalen-Lippe – Bestandsaufnahme und Handlungsperspektiven“, herausgegeben von Claudia Hornberg, Julius Freymüller, Silja Ritzinger und Rainer Fehr. Dies ist Band 8 der Edition „Nachhaltige Gesundheit in Stadt und Region“, herausgegeben von Rainer Fehr und Claudia Hornberg und publiziert in der Abteilung „oekom science“ des Ökom-Verlags, München.

This collaborative work is divided into the following chapters: (1) Health in the East Westphalia-Lippe region – historical developments, (2) Sustainability, nature and health in East Westphalia-Lippe, (3) Sociodemographics and epidemiology in East Westphalia-Lippe, (4) Health governance in East Westphalia-Lippe, (5) Medical and nursing care in East Westphalia-Lippe, (6) Health promotion and prevention in East Westphalia-Lippe, (7) Rehabilitation and participation in East Westphalia-Lippe, (8) All sectors are health sectors – including in East Westphalia-Lippe. In addition, the book includes the technical introduction ‘East Westphalia-Lippe – a case study on regional health’ and the concluding Chapter 9: Sustainable regional health in East Westphalia-Lippe – summary and outlook / Dieses Gemeinschaftswerk gliedert sich in folgende Kapitel: (1) Gesundheit in der Region Ostwestfalen-Lippe – Entwicklungen im Laufe der Geschichte, (2)Nachhaltigkeit, Natur und Gesundheit in Ostwestfalen-Lippe, (3) Soziodemografie und Epidemiologie in Ostwestfalen-Lippe, (4) Gesundheitliche Steuerung in Ostwestfalen-Lippe, (5) Medizinische und pflegerische Versorgung in Ostwestfalen-Lippe, (6) Gesundheitsförderung und Prävention in Ostwestfalen-Lippe, (7) Rehabilitation und Teilhabe in Ostwestfalen-Lippe, (8) Alle Sektoren sind Gesundheitssektoren – auch in Ostwestfalen-Lippe. Zusätzlich gibt es hier die fachliche Einführung „Ostwestfalen-Lippe – eine Fallstudie zur RegionalGesundheit“ und das abschließende Kapitel 9: Nachhaltige RegionalGesundheit in Ostwestfalen-Lippe – Resümee und Blick nach vorn.
